Community House Middle School Class Tardy Policy
-
1st Tardy: Teacher records the tardy as unexcused and warns the student of his/her offense.
-
2nd Tardy: Teacher records the tardy as unexcused, makes a parent contact and issues a teacher-designated consequence. Inform both child and parent that the next tardy will result in a referral to administration.
If parent contact is not made at the second tardy, the student may not progress to the next discipline level
-
3rd Tardy (and all subsequent tardies): Teacher records the tardy as unexcused, writes a referral and contacts the parent to inform them the referral has been written. Administrative discipline (ASD, ISS etc. will be issued based on number of tardies).
This policy is for tardies to each class (1st – 4th blocks and Advisory) separately.
**Failure to report to an assigned ASD without prior arrangement with the AP will result in additional consequences.
