Dear Providence Spring Elementary Families,

 

I hope you and your family are enjoying a well-deserved and peaceful summer. It is with great excitement and heartfelt gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Providence Spring Elementary School. I am truly honored to join this incredible school community and eager to embark on this journey with you.

 

I have had the opportunity to serve as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal in multiple schools, including several within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS). These varied experiences have allowed me to work with remarkable students, families, and staff, shaping my leadership philosophy and deepening my commitment to fostering school environments where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Outside of school, I am a wife and mother. My husband and I have been married for 24 years, and together we are raising our three wonderful sons - ages 19, 18, and 9. They bring constant joy and adventure to our lives! As both an educator and a parent, I understand firsthand the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

 

What drew me to Providence Spring Elementary is its outstanding reputation for academic excellence, a dedicated and caring staff, and the strong sense of community that makes the school so special. I believe that we can continue to build upon the rich traditions of Providence Spring Elementary while embracing new opportunities to help our students grow and succeed.

 

Over the coming weeks and months, I look forward to meeting our students, families, and staff members. I am eager to listen, learn, and partner with you to ensure that Providence Spring Elementary School remains a place where children love to learn and our school continues to be a source of pride and connection for everyone it serves.
