Colleen E. Grosse, Assistant Principal - 7th Grade

Ms. Grosse is originally from Brick, NJ and moved to Charlotte in 2013 after she taught in Newark, NJ as part of the Rutgers EOF program. She began teaching high school math at Garinger High School until 2019. She served as a principal intern at Mallard Creek and assistant principal W. A. Hough High school before joining the MLK lion family in 2023 as an assistant principal. This is her second year at MLK and she loves working with the younger siblings and families of former and new students on the northeast and eastside of Charlotte. She's currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNC Charlotte.
