Pat’s Place Partnership

Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center, one of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools many partners, facilitates our teachers and schools to work alongside the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in providing support to children who need trauma-informed care.

Our Handle with Care Initiative is currently piloted in 12 schools.  The program is intended to deploy district-wide in phases over the course of the next year and a half.
