ReCAST Partnership

Mecklenburg County Public Health Department by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

ReCAST has been instrumental in CMS' 'Handle with Care' initiative and is also working to bring the 'Sources of Strength' training format in to our schools.  Through 'Sources of Strength', we can formally train administration, teachers, and students on the school level to address conversations and situations of child abuse, violence prevention, and mental health.

The health and wellbeing of our students and school staff is a community effort, and we are thankful to have the support of Mecklenburg County and our partners in these various initiatives.
