Cell Phone Policy

Dear Families,

As we approach the start of the new school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to all our returning and new families.

At West Meck High School, we are excited about another year of learning and growth together. Our commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging educational environment remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to ensuring that each student's academic journey is filled with inspiration, support, and success.

To enhance the learning experience and protect valuable instructional time, we want to remind all students to limit personal cell phone usage during school hours, in accordance with Rule 5 of the Code of Student Conduct. Cell phones must be turned off and stored during instructional time.

This measure will contribute to a focused and distraction-free atmosphere, allowing our educators to deliver the best possible education to every student. Students will continue to have access to the internet using district-issued devices, and any additional use of other personal technology devices for instructional purposes will be at the discretion of the school principal.

We value the partnership between our school and families. Your support and involvement are vital to the success of our students, and we look forward to working collaboratively with you throughout the year.

On behalf of the entire West Meck High School team, thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
