Graduation Information

The end of the school year is here and we are so proud of our graduates!  Please see the information below regarding CMS graduation ceremonies.

Graduation Dates:

• Levine Middle College High School graduation rehearsal will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Ovens Auditorium @ 10:00 am (required)
• Levine Middle College High School graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Ovens Auditorium @ 10:00 am

Graduation Updates & Reminders: 
● Tickets will not be required for entrance.
● All graduates will be required to wear a cap and gown to participate in the ceremony.
● Students participating in graduation will be required to attend a rehearsal at Ovens on Tuesday, 5/21/24, at 10:00 am. Students should sit in the center section nearest the stage for the start of rehearsal.
● Guests can enter the venue 60 minutes before the ceremony (9:00 am).
● Graduates should arrive at 9:15 am for the ceremony and report to the upper-level lobby area (we will practice lining up here during our rehearsal).
● CMS Graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed during the event here.
● There is not a “filming area” in the auditorium; therefore, attendants must take pictures from their seats. CMS has hired a vendor who will take pictures of each graduate as he/she receives a diploma. More information regarding ordering photos will be available closer to 5/22/24.

We would like our ceremony to be a dignified event worthy of celebrating our graduates. Therefore, we need your help with the following:
● Gowns should be steamed or pressed with a cool iron. Students should wear appropriate attire under their gowns (business casual, no shorts).
● High heels are not recommended due to the auditorium stage steps.
● All caps should be worn with the tassel to the right until pronounced graduates.
● NO designs, messages, or decorations on caps/gowns will be allowed.
● Only the following adornments will be permitted during the ceremony and will be provided by Levine and distributed to select students while lining up for the ceremony: Stoles for our Valedictorians, Salutatorians, and NHS Officers, and Honor cords for our NHS members, Student Government members, and CMS Scholars.
● Do not bring any items to graduation that you have to carry. Once students recess (recessional out of the auditorium) you will not be permitted to re-enter the auditorium or the balcony area.
