After receiving feedback from families last Spring, students are to have all technology, which includes cell phones, AirPods, headphones, etc., off and in their backpack from the time they enter the school building until they leave the school building.
The consequences for having these items out are in each Student Agenda, and listed again below for reference. Please note that these consequences are in compliance with the CMS Code of Conduct. Phones will not be given back to students or parents earlier than the number of days listed.

1st Offense - The device may be picked up by the student at the end of the day.

2nd Offense - The device must be picked up by a family member over 18 years old between 8:45am – 4:45pm.

3rd Offense - The device will be held for three (3) consecutive school days, beginning the day it is confiscated.

4th Offense - The device will be held for five (5) consecutive school days, beginning the day it is confiscated.

5th Offense or More - Consequence will be determined by the Grade Level Administrator.
