Mrs. Jaimie Peterson

Hello!

 

I’m Mrs. Peterson, and I am thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. I have been an educator for 30 years, during which I’ve had the pleasure of serving as an elementary classroom teacher, a TD Catalyst Teacher for 14 years, and an Administrator since 2016. I graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UNC-Charlotte. My journey in education continued with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Queen's University University and an Academically Gifted License from the University of Virginia.

 

In 2022, I joined the Irwin Academic Center, and I can honestly say that being part of the IAC family has been a wonderful experience. I deeply enjoy being involved in this vibrant community and working with such dedicated students and staff.

 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, Bobby, our daughters, and our granddaughter, Charlie. I’m passionate about exercising, being involved in my church, and relaxing at the beach. I look forward to many more rewarding years here at IAC, contributing to the growth and success of our students.
