UNC Charlotte's General Education program is designed to provide students with the liberal arts education that is an essential part of the college experience. These requirements fall into five major categories listed in the link below. These are general education requirements that are applicable to all students at UNC Charlotte, regardless of their college or major.

All credits earned during the early college program will transfer to UNC Charlotte. If a student plans to attend another institution after graduation, the student should check with the institution to determine which credits will transfer.
