The Middle School program is designed to carry out NWSA’s mission by helping young people in grades 6-8 acquire knowledge and skills through conversation, discovery, and deep understanding. We strive to inspire, in each student, a love of learning and self-knowledge. Our students follow the NCDPI Curriculum and we teach everything from English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science to Spanish, Art, and Music. We believe in delivering a sound understanding of a broad range of subjects, a love of learning and an enthusiasm for new experiences. Students attend the school from all over Mecklenburg County. Our academic curriculum is designed to stretch each and every scholar, allowing them to reach their full potential and laying the foundations for their future studies either at NWSA’s high school or at any other school.
