Chess Club
Any 1st – 5th Graders interested in Chess? Join the Charlotte Chess Center & Scholastic Academy on Mondays to learn or perfect your Chess game. Led by masters, their team of instructors is the most highly qualified in the Southeast. Little Sticks Lacrosse provides students with an introduction to the sport of lacrosse in an age-appropriate and enthusiastic way. Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond! Explore planets, moons and other space phenomena in our solar system. Discover the difficulties of space travel, the challenges of living in space and try assembling a satellite while training to be an astronaut. Build your own Mad Science rocket and launch several with the group. Students will have lots of projects to make and to take home, plus – Mad Science is the ONLY organization licensed to use these activities for summer camps and school programs. Empowering soccer players to grow their PASSION for the game, PREPARE them to achieve their individual goals, and improve their PERFORMANCE. Imagine finishing school and having the chance to learn how to play soccer with college and former professional players? Now it is possible with P3 Soccer Lab! This fall, P3 will host a once a week after school program for Cotswold & Billingsville students. Goal is to provide a fun soccer experience with coaches that truly understand the game. Serve It UP Tennis Academy is the at school, after school tennis program designed to teach children tennis in preschool through 5th grade. We provide all the equipment necessary for the class including racquets, the court setup and tennis balls. The students receive professional instruction from our certified tennis professionals, take home handouts and personalized skills assessment. Our fitness portion focuses on building hand-eye coordination and quickness through concentrated footwork. We work to build a better athlete which makes them a better tennis player.
