Mrs. Gina O'Hare

I joined Harper as principal in the 2019-2020 school year.  Prior to that, I was the principal at Steele Creek Elementary, Walter G. Byers K-8 School, and Palisades Park Elementary.  During my tenure in CMS, I taught grades 3-6 at Steele Creek and Lake Wylie and served as Assistant Principal at Smithfield and Crown Point.   I was part of the district's Strategic Staffing Initiative and was named Project Lift's Principal of the Year.  I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I earned my bachelor's degree and Masters in School Administration.  I enjoy being a part of a school community that transitions students from high school to college and career pathways.  When I'm not keeping busy with Harper Greyhounds, you can find me at Starbucks or watching the Niners, Tarheels, or Cowboys!
