School Improvement Team (SIT)

The SIT is comprised of parents, teachers, and staff from TCE.  
Our school community strives to ensure that our SLT is representative of our entire school community. The School Improvement Team is directly involved in the development of the School Improvement Plan, and as appropriate, needs and initiatives of Torrence Creek. Our many activities include review and revision of our school Safety Plan as well as working with local community and CMS leadership to ensure a strategic view for Torrence Creek Elementary.  

Goals of the SIT  

Encourage, support, and create opportunities for involvement from parents in the community
Foster positive promotion regarding Torrence Creek within the community
Facilitate the involvement of the school community in the development of the School Improvement Plan
Contribute to the design of the School Improvement Plan
Monitor the effectiveness of the School Improvement Plan strategies
Advance policies / procedures to enhance achievement and meet educational, safety and parent involvement goals
