As your school counselor, I work with students, staff, families, and the community to create a positive learning environment for all students reflective of our River Gate Gator Ready values of – safety, respect, and responsibility.

The school counseling program provides:

Whole class guidance lessons focusing on respect, friendship, safety, and career awareness.

Individual and group work in order to meet social, emotional, academic, and behavioral goals.

Consultation for educational and mental health resources.

I am the school counselor for grades 3-5. I have worked as a Professional School Counselor for nine years. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from The University of South Carolina and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling degree from Webster University. I have a  son who is currently a student at Kennedy Middle.  I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends!
