Hello Stoney Creek Families!

My name is Melanie Barnes, but you can call me “Nurse Mel” 😊

I have been a school nurse since October 2023, but I have been a registered nurse since February 2018.

I believe that children need to be healthy to be educated and educated to be healthy – My job is to help this by providing health education, promoting wellness, and supporting healing in this community.

Aside from being a public health nurse, I am a wife with three young children of my own. I’ve called Charlotte my home since 2009, attending middle and high school in this school district. When I’m not working, I love to cook, crochet (badly), hang out with friends, and volunteer for a teen-parent ministry called YoungLives.
