    The drive will benefit Samaritans’ Feet, which is an organization that helps give shoes to impoverished children. These shoes not only help prevent foot-borne diseases, but also give these children hope.

    A NOTE OF THANKS A tremendous thank you to the Myers Park community for supporting our MP Performing Arts Students and helping us raise a total of $3,000 in donations for the Fern Leaf Community School Music Program! Music is an essential part of all elementary school programs, and we hope these donations will help bring music back for these students soon.

    College Application Week is when many North Carolina colleges and universities waive their application fees, allowing students to save hundreds of dollars as they apply to college.

  • Make up Pictures

    MAKEUP YEARBOOK PICTURES

    Make-Up Pictures for underclassmen will take place in the Media Center on Tuesday, October 22nd. This is for students who missed the first round of portraits OR do not like their first pictures.

    Pre-ACT will take place on Tuesday, October 15, for all students in grade 10. This exam is a REQUIRED State Test for all students enrolled in grade 10

  • PSAT FOR SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS

    The PSAT will tentatively take place on Tuesday, October 8. A school issued Chromebook is required to participate in the exam. All students enrolled in grades 10 or 11 in PowerSchool will take this exam.

  • PTSO ANNUAL FUND

    The MPHS PTSO aims to raise $200,000 to fund the PTSO operating budget for the 2024-2025 school year. The money isn’t extra, it is essential to addressing targeted needs not funded by CMS.
