Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Virtual School! I am honored to serve as the principal of this innovative magnet program and to partner with you in creating a successful and meaningful academic journey for your student.

At CMVS, our mission is to provide a flexible, personalized learning experience that transcends traditional education models and prepares students for 21st-century citizenship. We know that every student learns differently, and our fully virtual model allows us to meet students where they are while challenging them to grow. Whether your child is looking to accelerate their learning, needs flexibility in their schedule, or thrives in an independent learning environment, our team of dedicated and licensed teachers is here to provide daily support, meaningful feedback, and a strong sense of connection. We are committed to building a learning community where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their education.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two amazing children, ages 20 and 18. As a parent myself, I deeply value the trust you’ve placed in our school and look forward to working with you to support your child’s academic and personal growth.
