What AP Looks Like at Palisades

Open since the fall of 2022, hundreds of Palisades students have taken and are taking AP classes based on their interests and goals. Each student's experience is unique. Current students have access to nearly 20 AP courses on campus. 

Alumni have shared that their AP experience at Palisades has helped them be prepared for college academics. Additionally, students have earned college credit at a variety of institutions. Above, you can find a sample of some of the schools students have earned college credit and below you can find the college course equivalent awarded for seven popular colleges and universities within the PHS community.

AP Exam scores range from 1 to 5. At public colleges in NC and the UNC system, college credit is awarded for scores of 3 or higher. For more information about scores, visit the AP website.
