School Tours

NO TOURS ARE GIVEN OVER SUMMER HOURS

We know many new families are eager and anxious for their children to see the school before they start in August. Our Open House will be August 20th, which is the perfect time to bring your school supplies, meet the teacher, and walk around the school prior to the first day.

During the summer, all decorations, rugs, shelves, teacher libraries, etc. are removed from the classrooms for deep cleaning and floor re-waxing. Furniture has to be piled in the hallway for the floor refinishing. This process makes for a clean, beautiful start to the school year, but also makes the school extremely inhospitable for touring over the summer.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you to our Open House on August 20th.

General School Tours

School Tours are provided by the McKee Road Parent Teacher Association (PTA), at their discretion and availability - they are not guaranteed. School tours can be scheduled between the hours of 8:30 and 1:30 due to our bell schedule. After hours tours are not permitted, and prospective parents may see common areas but are not allowed to interrupt/observe classrooms out of respect for student privacy. Front office staff are happy to answer questions before and after tours, or in lieu of a tour, but cannot step away from their duties to give tours.

Rising Kindergarten Families

A Beginner's Day is held each spring for our rising Kindergarten families. This is an opportunity for rising Kindergartners to visit our Kindergarten classrooms with their potential teachers, while parents view a presentation and Q&A session with our administrative and support staff.
