All students attending school must be up-to-date with their immunizations and must have proof of required immunizations in order to attend school. All students new to NC public schools are also required to present proof of a health assessment. Students have 30 calendar days from their first day of school to provide documentation of compliance or the principal must exclude them from school until the documentation is received.
You will receive additional information from your school if your student is missing any required health documentation.
